The run starts at 10:30 a.m. With participants traveling by land or lake and stopping at four checkpoints to pick up poker cards sealed in envelopes and then returning to the NASWA Resort to get their final card and play their poker hand. 1-5 PM Free trolley service between Nawa Resort and the Weirs Beach Town Docks

The first four stops on the Poker Run can be made in any order:

For Land Participants:
Boardwalk (Weirs Beach)
Boathouse Grill (Merideth)
NH Antique Boat Museum (Wolfeboro)
Patrick's (Gilford)

For Lake Participants:
Town Docks (Weirs Beach)
Boathouse Dock (Merideth)
Lakeport Landing (Laconia)
Floating Band Stand (Alton Bay)

Saturday we were able to secure chairs and umbrellas before the poker run crowd; however we had to listen to the auctioneer for hours on the mic. There were flyers around the resort advertising Fireworks on Saturday at 10pm. No such event took place. I rented a pontoon boat for Saturday with pick up and drop off at the NASWA.

The final stop for both land and lake participants will be the Naswa Beach Bar in Laconia, where the post-event buffet and awards ceremonies take place, beginning at 3 PM

Monday, September 3rd , beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Naswa Poker Run

We will start the event at Meredith public docks and proceed from there to 4 other designated places (see schedule below), ending at final destination the NASWA Beach Bar at 5:30p.m.This is not a race and is intended for all interested boating enthusiasts to attend. You will be greeted by a representative who will hand out a playing card at each location which will be later used as a poker hand. The team with the best poker hand will be the designated winner and be awarded the grand prize. The entry fee will be $25.00 per vessel and include a free raffle ticket for prizes. Each entry fee will be totaled and given in full to the winning hand as the Grand Prize at the completion of the event (you must complete all 5 designated locations within the designated times to be eligible for the winning hand).
